Consistency! Your body was designed to move often and to eat clean on a consistent basis. This means working out at least 4-5 times per week. If you’re already formulating excuses you’re doomed. There are 168 hours in a week, you can easily find 4. If you don’t like to workout at home, there’s a gym on every other block here in the QC. Same rules apply for nutrition. Most of your meals should include a protein, veggies and water. Sugary drinks are the devil and carbs should be consistently avoided unless you are extremely active and don’t live a sedentary life. If you want it bad enough you’ll make it happen. Fall in love with the process. Small steps are better than no steps at all. Charge

We recently had the luxury of going to Carowinds, and I can’t even begin to tell you how many fun random thoughts popped into my mind. The most popular of these thoughts was watching how excited these kids were to get to the top of the slides and never once would they complain about how many steps they conquered to get there, which is a great metaphor for working out. Keep your mind on the prize(ie better health, being stronger, more mobile, etc) and the journey is so much more enjoyable.
